Eoin Monaghan is an Economic Consultant with London Economics. Since joining LE, Eoin has undertaken economic analysis for a range of public and private sector clients. He has developed strong knowledge and experience in economic research, survey design and implementation, cost-benefit analysis, data analysis and economic impact assessments. Eoin’s recent work includes a review of the UK Government’s Energy Affordability Schemes in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, for the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ).

Eoin completed his undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford and he also holds an MSc in Economics from Queen’s University Belfast. Prior to joining LE, Eoin worked in the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) in Dublin. Eoin co-authored a range of publications in climate and energy research at the ESRI. This included research into the environmental and economic impacts of the COVID-19 crisis on the economy, as well as the economic and environmental impacts of carbon taxes.
