London Economics were commissioned by the Higher Education Policy Institute (HEPI) and Kaplan International Pathways to assess the benefits and costs of international higher education (HE) students to the UK economy in 2021-22 based on the new UK parliamentary constituency boundaries, building on our previous work which used the previous boundaries (see here). The new study uses improved data on the location of international HE students from the 2021 Census, which provides more accurate local-level results.
