London Economics is pleased to announce the appointment of John Curnow as a Partner in London Economics Public Policy Practice. John currently serves as Director of Analysis at the Ministry of Defence and has previously held senior roles at Defra, Monitor, Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust, and Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. Previously he worked at HM Treasury and the Department for Communities and Local Government. From 2020 to 2022, he was also the Chair of the OECD Environmental Policy Committee.

John will be joining the firm’s head office in Somerset House in London at the start of January 2026 and will be part of the leadership team. His appointment reflects the continued growth in demand for London Economics’ evidence-based policy and economic analysis services.
