Philip Hagelberg is an Economic Consultant at London Economics, with extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis, including statistical analysis in R and Stata, Excel modelling, literature reviews, and expert consultations.
Since joining London Economics, Philip has worked on various projects, including analysis for the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, assessing the underlying variables that impact firm growth in the UK space industry. He has worked with the European Space Agency, delivering analysis on the commercial viability of various space-based solutions to assist decarbonisation, and has performed statistical analysis of survey data from childcare providers for the Department for Education. Philip has also worked on analysis assessing the economic and social impact of the University of Birmingham.
Before joining London Economics, Philip obtained a BSc in Economics from the University of Birmingham, and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, where he produced an extensive cross-country econometric study on the impacts of physical geography on economic development.
