Matthew is an Economic Consultant and a full-time member of the Space team at London Economics. He has contributed to consultancy projects spanning the entire space value chain for both public and private sector clients. His work covers a broad range of areas, from satellite communications and Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT), to beyond-Earth markets and in-orbit services, delivering insights through market analysis, policy evaluation, and strategic assessments.

He holds an MEng in Aerospace Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast. After graduating, Matthew joined the Satellite Applications Catapult as a Business Analyst, where he worked with organisations across the UK space ecosystem, from early-stage start-ups to large primes, providing research on their target markets. He later worked as a Business Development Engineer at Surrey Satellite Technology, gaining experience in the process of developing business cases for new spacecraft products and services.
