Lucy Manly is an Economic Consultant at London Economics, working across a variety of sectors with an interest in public policy. Her role encompasses researching academic literature and analysing qualitative and quantitative findings using statistical and econometric modeling. Since joining LE, she has worked on a variety of projects in the Education and Labour Markets Team, ranging from estimating the impact a rise in the wages of NHS nurses on the Exchequer to analysing the economic and social impact of the University of Oxford. These projects have required her to create models in Excel and analyse data using Stata.
Lucy holds a B.A. (Hons) in Economics and History from the University of Oxford, where she developed a wide range of experience in research and analysis. More specifically, she is confident in data manipulation, econometric modelling using Excel and R and conducting literature reviews. Before LE, Lucy has worked in the financial sector on mergers and acquisitions, where she undertook research of the food and beverage industry and supported searches for potential buyers and sellers of small businesses in this market.
