Lauren graduated from Lincoln University in 2021 with a BSc(Hons) in Mathematics with specialties in calculus, statistics, and complex analysis. Lauren is currently studying an MSc in Astrophysics at Liverpool John Moore’s University, focusing on stellar evolution and mathematical and computational astrophysical concepts.

She has extensive experience using programming languages such as Python and MATLAB to analyse large datasets, simulate astronomical phenomena, and develop numerical models to gain a deeper understanding of complex astrophysical processes. During her masters degree, she also co-authored a PhD thesis that focuses on the application of machine learning techniques to analyse the risk factors associated with latent autoimmune diabetes in adults.

Prior to joining London Economics, Lauren worked in Centre Management Finance for a large shopping centre. This allowed her to develop corporate skills alongside academic ones and provided an insight into accountancy and cost and revenue analysis.
