Jannik Neu is an Economic Consultant at London Economics (LE) and a member of the Space team. Since joining the company in September 2024, he has worked with high-level clients, including the UK Space Agency (UKSA) and the European Space Agency (ESA), developing a broad set of quantitative and qualitative skills.

At LE, Jannik delivered the Size & Health of the UK Space Industry study for UKSA as part of the project team, with responsibilities including survey management, stakeholder engagement, and the analysis of survey and investment data using Stata and Excel. For ESA, he and his colleagues conducted an impact assessment of the Navigation Innovation Support Programme, a PNT initiative with over €200m in funding. His work involved stakeholder interviews with domain experts, ESA cost data analysis, and a comprehensive landscape analysis of comparable space funding programmes.

Prior to joining LE, Jannik interned in the Industrial Policy and Space Economy Division at ESA, as well as in PwC Germany’s management consulting branch. He holds an M.Sc. in Space Studies from KU Leuven, an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of St Andrews, and a B.Sc. in Economics and Business Economics from Maastricht University.
