James Forrester is an Economic Analyst at London Economics, with experience in economic analysis, evidence reviews and data collection. His role includes both quantitative and qualitative research. James has worked on projects across several different sectors including Finance, Energy, Competition, Trade, and Space, with clients including the European Commission, the UK Department for International Trade and the UKSA.

Since joining LE, James has developed experience in data collection, cleaning, and manipulation; and has conducted literature reviews on a range of topics including the impact of Covid on the use of AI in UK service sectors, the effectiveness of EU taxation directives, and the impact of FDI on R&D in the UK. Other project work has included analysis of survey data to assess the impact of digitalisation on environmental sustainability in SMEs; and creating and updating datasets to provide an overview of the EU construction industry. James holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and an MSci (incorporating BSc) in Mathematics from Imperial College London.
