Our Space team is led by Greg Sadlier, a Divisional Director at London Economics.
Greg is an expert in the economics of space. He holds an M.Sc., an M.A. and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Dublin, Trinity College, and has UK National Security Clearance (CTC level). He brings over fourteen years’ experience as a professional economist consulting on over 60 projects, and has amassed specialist knowledge, research expertise and project management experience applying the full range of economic analysis techniques to space exploration, satellite systems and their downstream applications.
Greg is a current “expert” of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) Space Economy Technical Committee – the world’s leading space advocacy body with over 270 members, including all key space agencies, companies, societies, associations and institutes across 64 countries.
Supported by his team, Greg actively advises national and international governments (European Commission; UK; Norway, Denmark), space agencies (European Space Agency, UK Space Agency, European GNSS Agency), private companies (SSTL, Reaction Engines Ltd., UKspace, Satellite Applications Catapult) and third sector organisations (Google Lunar XPRIZE), often involving consultations.
