Farooq Sabri is a Divisional Director in London Economics’ Space Team. He has over three years of experience delivering economic analysis of the space sector, with recent clients including the European Space Agency, UK Space Agency, the GSA, Innovate UK, Lockheed Martin and the Satellite Applications Catapult.

Farooq is an experienced consultant and project manager. This includes proposal writing, methodological design, all aspects of project work, client engagement and report writing.

Before moving to London Economics, Farooq worked as an independent economist for the UK Space Agency where he built economic models and business cases to estimate the private and social return to public investments in the UK Space industry. Farooq holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Bristol and has previously delivered economic analysis projects for government, academia, consultancy and the third sector in his roles at New Philanthropy Capital, the Behavioural Insights Team (Cabinet Office, UK Government) and Long-Run Economics Ltd.
