Ella Lingard is a Senior Economic Consultant at London Economics, with expertise in education
and labour market economics. Since joining London Economics, she has worked on
projects for the Department for Education, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport,
the NHS Confederation and the University of Glasgow.

Ella’s work has involved analysing the childcare market, contributing to the analysis for the
Department for Education’s annual Survey of Childcare and Early Years Providers, and the
departments evaluation of the National Wraparound Childcare Programme. Her work also
involves a range of econometric techniques, including a project for the NHS
Confederation, which aims to estimate the Return on Investment associated with funding
in women’s health.

Ella holds an MA in Economics and an MSc in Quantitative Economics from the University
of Glasgow, with valuable experience gained in quantitative and qualitative research,
including econometric analysis and literature reviews.
