Bruno Chereque is a Senior Economic Consultant with over six years’ experience in economic appraisal, impact evaluation and value for money analysis for public sector, international and private sector clients. His work focuses on the evaluation of public policy and investment programmes across sectors including innovation and technology.

At London Economics, Bruno has evaluated the impact and return on investment of UK Government investment in AI compute for DSIT, contributed to the impact evaluation of the National Timing Centre R&D Programme, applied futures methods for the Office for Product Safety and Standards to examine emerging trends in social commerce, and worked on an adult social care modelling project for Northumberland County Council to support early intervention planning.

Prior to joining London Economics, Bruno worked on evaluations and economic impact studies across innovation, regional development, mining, infrastructure, education, and labour markets in Latin America. This included assessing the impact of innovation funding on firms using quasi-experimental methods, evaluating the Social Return on Investment of programmes supporting SMEs and young workers, and developing labour market forecasts to inform policy decisions.

Bruno holds an MPA in Data Science for Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BSc in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico in Peru.
