Ashley Sofocleous is an Economic Consultant at London Economics and a full-time member of the Space Team.

He is a fully accredited Chartered Accountant, having earned his ACA qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in 2021. Following this, Ashley worked in the Corporate Finance team at Crowe UK in London, where he provided capital market and M&A transaction support to a wide range of domestic and international clients.

Earlier in his career, Ashley gained experience at the Satellite Applications Catapult through the Space Placements in Industry (SPIN) scheme, which is managed by the UK Space Agency and supported by the Satellite Applications Catapult. He recently completed a postgraduate master’s degree in Space Science and Engineering at University College London (UCL), having previously obtained a master’s degree in physics from the University of Nottingham.
