Agata Makowska is an Economic Analyst at London Economics. She holds a B.A in Quantitative Methods in Economics from the Warsaw School of Economics and a MSc in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. Agata has a thorough interest in economic modelling and research, especially in the field of public policy. Since joining London Economics, she has been engaged in various projects involving data collection and manipulation, statistical and econometric modelling in Excel and Stata, as well as the preparation of literature reviews and reports.
Most recently, she worked on an impact assessment of the EPSRC investment in High Performance Computing in the UK and supported a study on low productivity firms using ARDx ONS data for BEIS. Moreover, she was responsible for the survey analysis for the Department for International Trade evaluating the burden of the UK non-tariff trade barriers. Additionally, Agata conducted an in-depth quantitative analysis while working on the annual report on European SMEs performance for the European Commission.
