London Economics were commissioned by Universities UK in association with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP to undertake a review of the economic evidence relating to the benefits of higher education qualification attainment. The report illustrated the significant benefits from undertaking a degree; the variation of economic outcomes depending on a number of factors; as well as the likely impact of differential top up fees on the economic rate of return to degree level qualification attainment. The report was launched in the Palace of Westminster in February 2007.
