London Economics has been appointed by NAMA as co-leader with Lazard Frères (Paris) for the privatisation of 5 electricity companies (4 distribution companies and 1 transmission company) of the Sultanate of Oman. LE is responsible for the preparation of the transaction structuring report which sets out the recommendations for the structure of the sale(s), undertaking the economic due diligence, supervising the technical, legal, accounting, HR and environmental due diligence undertaken by LE’s partners (HSF, AMJ, ESBI, E&Y and Zeenah) and the preparation of the strategic structuring report, and the provision of support to Lazard during the actual transaction phase.
