This report, undertaken for the OFT as part of its market study into the commercial use of public information, provides background information on the general public sector information policy of Australia, Sweden and the United States and examines in detail the policies and practices of three different Public Sector Information Holders (PSIH) in each country, namely the Meteorological Offices, the Company Registers, and the National Mapping agencies.
