Nick Oswald has been part of the London Economics Space team since 2018, having previously worked in the space insurance sector. Nick’s experience in the space industry spans over seven years, during which time he has provided services to many of the world’s leading satellite operators, alongside providing consulting services to both the public and private sectors. At LE, Nick has primarily been focused on assisting with delivery of the Market Monitoring and Forecasting Process (MMFP) for the European GNSS Agency (GSA), alongside conducting bespoke research for a leading insurance industry client.
Over the course of Nick’s space career, he has developed extensive knowledge of the global space industry, with a particular focus upon the launcher and geostationary satellite communications market, and downstream GNSS applications. Nick brings with him unique insights into financial and technical aspects of the space industry and value chain, and has worked with leading financial institutions in both the US, UK and Bermuda, as well as with a preeminent private UK space & defence research laboratory.
Nick previously read Mathematics at Imperial College, London before later completing an M.Sc. in Astronautics & Space Engineering at Cranfield University.
