Martin is a member of LE’s specialist Financial Services and Behavioural Economics teams. He has over 3 years of professional experience in qualitative and quantitative applied economic research, including analysis of transaction- and firm-level financial data, macroeconomic variables, consumer surveys, and behavioural experiments. Martin is comfortable with complex multi-source datasets and advanced econometric techniques, as well as structured interviews and other qualitative research methods.
Martin delivered reports and presentations for clients including the European Commission, UK Government, UK Financial Conduct Authority, European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG), and a number of private sector clients. He also assisted with several expert economic testimonies on international investment disputes related to retail financial markets.
Before joining London Economics, Martin completed graduate traineeships at the European Central Bank and the European Commission. Martin holds an MSc. in Economics and Philosophy from LSE and a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of York.
