He completed his MSc in Economics with Distinction from University College London and also holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Lausanne. Throughout his studies, he has gained a specialised knowledge of advanced econometric methods, such as Bayesian and simulation-based techniques. For instance, his master’s thesis employed Bayesian multivariate time series analysis to investigate the impact of government expenditures on macroeconomic variables.
Brian has also worked extensively with large data sets. This includes data retrieved from the Office for National Statistics and HMRC. Whilst at London Economics, he has analysed various survey data sets to produce descriptive statistics and develop econometric models and has actively supported our literature review researches and the drafting of reports.
